
Applying for the Youth Mobility Scheme Visa online is quite fast and easy. It took few minutes to answer all the questions.
Personal Information
It asked for your name, country of residence, date of birth, phone number and more.
Passport details
What you see on your passport is what you put in the application as you passport number, issue date and expiry date.
Dependant details
As mentioned previously, to be legally, you'll have to have non-dependant.
Parent details
You'll need their date of birth and place of birth.
Employment
You'll have to disclose all the different employers you've worked for that are under selected industries such as government and media.
Accommodation
Few people mentioned on their blog that you'll have to give an address but the truth is you don't need one at that point. Just say no, if you don't have one yet, like me. As long as you don't have the confirmation of your visa, there's no need to start planning. Applying is just the start, the rest is the real deal.
Travel History
Be prepare, you'll need your travel history in the past 10 years. Make sure you have it. If you don't, you can still save your application for later and gather your informations.
Security & History
Those questions are there to make sure that all candidate don't pose a threat to the country.
Sponsor
As for the Tier 5 -Youth Mobility Scheme Visa, it does't require a sponsor. But you can't leave it blank for the job title so put something. As for the estimation of the salary you can put £0 if you have no offer, like I did.
National Insurance Number
For the moment, you are not suppose to have an insurance number, at the end of the application, they'll redirect you to pay for the NHS.
Maintenance
For maintenance, you decide which document you want to give. The commercial partner is responsable to collect the documents on their website or during the appointment you'll have to book. But rest assure, if you don't have a scanner there's few solutions.
If you have an iPhone, through the notes app, you can scan your document. That's what I did and it worked.
The commercial partner can do it for you, but there's a fee.

Passport
For your passport you won't need to scan it, but you must bring it to your appointment. The commercial partner will scan it.
BRP
You'll have to select a post Office in the UK to collect your BRP.
Payment - Declaration - Consent
You'll have to pay the fee for the visa of 329.00 USD. Then you'll be redirect for the Immigration Health Surcharge payment. The fee is 810.00 USD.
Most of the part of your application is done. All you'll need to do is to register with the commercial partner for an appointment for your documents. Keep in mind that you might have to pay for User Pay Service Fee of 74.00 USD depending of the office. For Ottawa there's a fee.
